This bottle of 2013 is a port style dessert wine. Port wine is an alcohol-enhanced wine with an alcohol content of about 17%-22%. Since the fermentation process was terminated before grape juice was fully fermented, this Port wine is sweet.
The grapes in this wine were collected from Yountville vineyard in the center of Napa. It was blended in the portion of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, and 6% Cabernet Franc. Aged in 100% French oak barrels for 30 months, this wine is perfectly full-bodied. This is a silky and delicious wine with a limited production of 2,500 cases in the world.
