Boya, Leyda Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2016
This bottle is a Sauvignon Blanc white wine from the Boya Winery of Chile's Leyda Valley. In fact, Boya Winery was a pioneer of Leyda Valley on the coast of Chile.
"Boya" means "buoy" in Spanish, because the entire vineyard overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
The architecture of the winery is inspired by its environment, and the surrounding rolling hills determine the different levels of the winery.
Their uniqueness is in the use of gravity winemaking (gravity winemaking: also known as "gravity-flow winemaking". The main feature of this winemaking method is that the entire process of the winemaking fully utilizes the principle of gravity. It allows liquid, such as grape juice and wine, to naturally flow from one container of one winemaking process to the new container of the next winemaking process). This method can maintain the natural aroma and taste of the wine.
