Product details
A "rascan" is a traditional farmer’s tool used to harvest peat from the bogs. So the name alone tells you a bit about anCnoc Rascan Peated Single Malt Whisky. But all anCnoc Whiskies are Highlanders at their heart, so the peating is very mild. So what we are saying is that anCnoc Rascan Peated is all of the lovely, fruit-forward and delicate single malt that anCnoc fans are expecting with just a pleasant whiff of peat smoke in the background.
The smoky/peaty/charring flavor of Scottish Whiskies is measured by the phenol levels measure in parts-per-million (ppm), and anCnoc Rascan clocks in at just 11.1 ppm.
